How to make mistakes when you travel?

I had one day to myself in Bogotá, Colombia and followed a friend’s tip to visit the the flee market (Mercado de Pulgas) in the quaint neighborhood of Usaquen.

After a few hours of roaming around cute streets and the artsy local stalls it was time to go back to the hotel.

I couldn’t find a taxi and a very sweet man at a nail salon offered to call one for me on his mobile app. “Have you visited the Mercado de Pulgas?”he asked, pointing to the right in the opposite direction from where I spent the day. Oops…

This was not the first time I got lost and discovered something great. If you want to know more, you can read about a similar experience that happened a month later in Chile.
