My visit to the city of Adana in Turkey combined two of my favorite things about Turkey: Food and Architecture.
Adana is not your typical touristic destination. I had the opportunity to visit for a friend’s wedding and try the famous, Adana Kebab (and so much more as Turkish people will feed to you their wonderful dishes until you drop dead).
The largest mosque in Turkey, the Sabancı Merkez is one the main attractions in town. It was designed by many famous architects and is therefore a wonderful display of marble, stained glass and intricate decorations. When you go inside, you can easily imagine yourself being transported to the Sultan’s Palace in ancient times.
